About
Our team of over 80 employees serve 830 students in grades TK-5.
At Trace Elementary, parents and staff work together to ensure that each student receives a rigorous and comprehensive education in a safe, caring environment. All students have the opportunity to think critically, work both independently and collaboratively, take risks, and be creative. Students are at the core of all decisions and our team is committed to helping students become lifelong learners and preparing them to be the thinkers, leaders, and creators of tomorrow.
Families are encouraged to learn about parent participation opportunities through school committees and school connected organizations. If you want to visit Trace Elementary, please review our visitor guidelines.
Student Orientation
Our students will receive their student orientation and a campus tour on their first week of school. This orientation familiarizes new students with the school's facilities, policies, and
procedures. If your student is new to our campus during the school year, your classroom teacher will engage classroom peers to support our new student to ensure that your student feels welcomed into our school community.
Back to school letter (2025-2026) English | Spanish
To help you prepare for you first day of school, we’ve created a short video tour of our campus (English | Spanish). This will give you and your student a preview of the school and help you feel more at home on your first day.
Traffic and Parking: To ensure a smooth drop-off and pick-up process (English | Spanish):
- Follow traffic norms and avoid stopping on red curbs.
- Green zones are limited to 15 minutes only.
- White lines indicate where you should remain in your vehicle.
- Please use our designated drop-off lane in front of the library for student drop-off and pick-up.
- Adults are invited to walk students onto campus and wait in line with them. If you are parking and walking it is best to do so within a 2 block radius.
