Visiting our School

Caregivers are welcome on campus for drop-off between 8:00 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. Please accompany your student in line as they wait for the bell to ring. This routine helps our students develop stamina and practice social skills as they wait in line.  A warning bell rings at 8:24 a.m. and teachers will be with their class promptly at 8:25 AM. We kindly request that all visitor begin to walk off campus once teachers greet their students as we lock the gates at 8:30 a.m. We also request that you email or schedule an appointment with your student's teacher instead of discussing any personal matters in front of peers. This practice ensures the safety of our students and allows our staff to fully focus on their educational duties.

As a parent volunteer community, we encourage caregivers to volunteer in their student's classroom. To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, and to minimize disruption to instruction, please contact the principal or an administrator to pre-arrange classroom visits. All visitors are expected to adhere to school policies and engage respectfully with all employees.

Parents and guardians may not interact with any children other than their own unless given explicit permission to do so prior to the visit.

For safety reasons, state law requires schools to register all guests who enter school property.

Visitors may park in the Lincoln parking lot and check-in at the office to get a visitor’s pass.

Unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering or remaining on school grounds. If court-issued restraining orders exist which limit a parent’s access to visiting their child or receiving information about their child, the custodial parent must provide the school principal with a copy of such an order. Only persons listed in a student’s record are permitted to pick up the student without specific parental permission.

School personnel or designee may request that any individual who is causing a disruption, including exhibiting volatile, hostile, aggressive, or offensive behavior, immediately leave school grounds.

Our office serves as a resource center, and we kindly request that you refrain from using it as a passway through our campus. Please use the gates located between the library and office for entering or exiting our school grounds, except in cases of student tardiness,  which require documentation.

Additionally, we kindly ask that adults refrain from using the student restrooms during school hours. There is an adult restroom available in our main office for your convenience.

Lastly, our playgrounds and school campus are reserved for after-school programs only.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
